Ceramica di Milano (Italy)

Post by Pip on Sun Feb 10, 2008 3:37 pm

These are very girly and I just can't help liking them - always marked with a stamp to the base - theyfeature images of typically 1960s girls on pastel sponged grounds. Usually vases, pots and dressing table sets in various colours but I have also found a very pretty (if that's possible!) wall-mounted toilet tissue holder shown at the bottom. I don't know anything about this company at all other than they were obviously based in Milan, Italy and were producing these items in the 1960s.

Walter - another Italian enigma - Ceramica di Milano - I have TONS of this stuff (I love it) - lots more to put up in this thread. I don't suppose you have any info on this pottery or the artists do you?
