Coral shape vase with multi-colour glaze
I wonder if anybody can help in ID of this quite funny vase, shaped like a coral (or a tree?)
Stands appr. 20 cm high, mottled glaze in red, yellow, orange and dark blue, unmarked.
The colours do look 1970s, but maybe it's just a quite recent "retro" piece...
Thanks!
Michael

Re: Bertoncello (Italy)
While looking for a Bertoncello vase I found today, I came across this thread: http://www.20thcenturyforum.com/t311p45-bertoncello-italy#25730
The vase in the first pic seems to have a very similar glaze to mine...
And I found these vases by Guido Andloviz for Lavenia, which are the same design as my vase (but not identical).
So -- Italian should be quite probable then I guess? Maybe Bertoncello based on the Lavenia vase?
Thanks,
Michael

Re: Bertoncello (Italy)
It looks exactly the same vase:

with a different glaze.
It definitely should be by Guido Andloviz.
Maybe big ed can help you...

Re: Bertoncello (Italy)
Thanks a lot guys!!
So the designer seems to be Guido Andloviz, but I would say that my vase was executed later regarding the glaze -- perhaps 1960s/70s?
And the "branches" are a little bit shorter than the ones in the original Lavenia piece...
