Somecompanies used a number to show size in centimetres others used it as grading a height IE. 0 up 6

50's vase with cute car theme!

Post by emmapeel on Sun Jun 26, 2011 7:45 pm

Hi, this is my first request for help from all you fabulous experts!

I've been trying to track down the maker of this piece for ages with no luck.....it's driving me nuts.... and I keep finding more!
I've now got three pieces, all slightly different. Can anyone help? The backstamp looks like a capital T within a box, horizontal line and two dots underneath. Or maybe I'm reading that incorrectly & its an upside down symbol in the photo...Also a number: 1010/17. Looks late 50's or early 60's to me. European, but where?

Thanks,
Em
