Blue Mtn. Pottery, Apollo Glaze

Spookily the exact same shapes as scheurich .

Slate glaze.

Two atomic style ashtrays. I am not sure if the second one is BMP as it is not marked, but it has the red clay. I love both of them:

Tulip vase, spade bowl, tri-part candy tray. I think the logo script style on the spade bowl dates it to the 50s-60s.

Another piece with the Apollo glaze. 34cm

8" highwith vibrant orange to body black to base and white, cream and brown lava flowing over top - base says BMP Canada - was told that as Blue Mountain Pottery but I thought they only made green animals

Apollo glaze done in the late 1970s.

Hi -- Have LOTS of examples of BMP here that I will post in time. Thought I would post this lovely flaming Red vase here first. It has the three Tree logo on it.

I found this large vase at a thrift store today. Red clay,   THREE ROUND DOTS FORM A SMALL TRIANGLE AND I CAN'T TELL IF THE OTHER MARKS BELOW ARE LETTERS OR WHAT. Sorry cap lock was on...not yelling

Also I am sure that you are aware that the writing of the bottom marks helps to date the item.  The more script type like this one, are older pieces!

Blue Mountain Pottery bison. Not marked but with sticker and hang tag. Not that old since hang tag has a web address on it ;)

Blue Mountain swan pin dish

Small goose, almost abstract like some native art models I've seen, but containing the soul of the little beast in the simple, flowing lines. More easy to live with I suspect than a real one...

I actually think its better thrown than Blue Mountain..but why the label ?

They had a range of colours including red orange brown, as well as black, blue-black, blue-green, etc.

Hi there....thought I would post this *OTHER* Blue Mountain Pottery Lamp I found.  I had already posted a Blue one here........but Today I found a HARVEST GOLD ONE.  Color is more rarer I believe.

Picked up this today, I have to be honest and say its not my thing but I guess its quite collectable or it wouldnt have been made!

Can anyone give an idea if its a rare piece as I have not come across one before

Found one via Google. Listed as "MINT BLUE MOUNTAIN POTTERY ROMAR SERIES #749 THE DERBY - HORSE AND FOAL- GREEN".

If you check completed listings on eBay you'll get an idea of how common/rare it is.
