NOT a D & B

Post by fixit_bear on May 26th 2008, 4:34 pm

I am posting this in here because the form number seems odd 1574/18. I have seen other pictures of virtually identical vases but one was numbered 303, the other was described as a "small 74". My vase is slightly different in the height of the top cup section, the shape of the shoulders, and the angle of the handle. Mine also seems very light weight. Is it possible it was reissued using new moulds and number? I am also a little surprised that it only has a "FOREIGN" stamp.

359/9

Post by fixit_bear on June 8th 2008, 7:17 pm

I'm pretty sure these are the same as the single pot I had ID'd some time ago but the coloured glaze blobs are very indistinct on these. Only mark is 359/9

and a super shape of U keramik with a great shaped spout and handle...with its original sticker.actually this fine drip where the clors bleed into each other reminds me of a fine class fat lava.
wonder whether this look led to the formation of a thick lava drip...who knows.
no 419/20

Another "Granny" vase 1007 6

Post by fixit_bear on June 29th 2008, 7:31 pm

I promised myself not to buy any more granny vases (the sort of thing you bought your granny when you couldn't afford anything big) but I liked the shape of this one. Any one know it?

Another German Pottery Vase ? 112/20

Post by heygarth54 on April 15th 2011, 12:18 pm

The glaze on this vase caught my eye so I picked it up in a local charity shop. I assumed it is German pottery, it is 8ins in height and numbered 112/20 as in the image above. Might anyone be able to give me the manufacturer and year please, if possible. Many thanks.
