Re: Schäffenacker

I find the ones with musical motif's, theatrical masks and faces command more money than the fish or horse motif's.

Re: Schäffenacker
I have a Shaffernacker wall relief as per the photo posted by big ed on Thu Oct 29, 2009 11:58 am. It has the studio imprint on the back and is numbered 562. Can anyone tell me a bit more about it as I have just been given this by my mother (who I think bought it in Sweden in the 1960s). I love it and want to keep it but know nothing about it or its possible value.
Thanks in advance for any replies

Re: Schäffenacker
It is still with my mother in Sweden but I found this old pic from when I was little - it's not a very good one and I am trying to work out how to upload it, so may be a while. The wall relief I have is in darker brown tones rather than the orange/brown on you photo - maybe it's just in need of a good clean or it came out different colour when 'being cooked'. Apologies for ignorance and lack of IT skills...

Re: Schäffenacker
Not sure I've got this right and it is a poor quality image... the wall relief is rather tucked in the darkest corner - sorry!
