bowl #926 traceable 1958 , sadly only on black and white pictures,
offered with modern non-objective pattern "Santos" and "Nizza"
the decor of your bowl could be "Nizza", not sure though.

Hi Vicky!

I don't think that you will find closer information about Bay piggy banks (never heard of before that they produced them), but who knows...

Pics would help :-)

I would like to recommend Horst Makus, Keramik der 50er Jahre in German though.
The book is limited to WGP of 1950s until c.1962.
Wouldnīt help you with Bay, D&B etc. of the 1970s.

There are other books / CDs in German and English language, useful for beginners and more advanced collectors as well but i wouldnīt recommend them. Too many mistakes. You could read there e.g. that Bay stopped the production of decorative ceramics in 1971. A serious mistake.
I can prove that this line of production was still alive and well in the 1980s.
