Heinrich Neuy - the last Bauhaus student
Heinrich Neuy (1911 - 2003) was the youngest student ever enrolled in the Bauhaus school, and was also the last surviving Bauhaus painter when he passed in 2003.

Re: Heinrich Neuy - the last Bauhaus student
Wow - they're brilliant - I particularly like the swirly 'Harmonische Spannung' (1989) - these would sit well with some of my 1960s psychedelic music posters...

'Träumerei' is the spinny-swirly one. I probably should have put the titles below the images, rather than above.... it even confused me after I'd posted it. (Edit: Titles fixed)
But, yes, I've a soft-spot for Neuy's work - they find a balance between Bauhaus modernism and 80s/90s post-modernism, especially pieces like 'Obertöne' and 'Selbstbeschreibung'.
I was *very* lucky to pick up two copies of this portfolio, so I got to keep one of them for myself!
