More fantastic designs from Inger Waage. These are from the Flamingo oven to tableware range and the pattern is called 'Bambus'.

I got this pretty little footed nut dish recently, with a load of other Scandi studio pottery (soon to be featured here to see if we can find out who they are..) but this was easier. Inger Waage design.

Does this sort of simple abstract design normally have a design name, or is it pretty generic?

Norwegian Bowl

Post by Adam20 on Wed Jun 22, 2011 2:09 pm

Just bought today in a charity shop for £9.00 which would seem steep except if you examine back its Stavangarflint designed by Inger Wagge (IW) a famous a sought after designer - 6.25" long painted with birds of paradise amongst forest foliage - like a painting

Any further info welcomed
