One of mine (but framed?) was bid up to £800 at Bonhams last Septemer so the buyer paid £992.

Vallaruis Pot
I am looking for any information on a terracotta pot with a makers mark on the side. The mark is an oval with "Vallaruis" & "Made in France" inside and an 8 under and to the left of the oval. The pot's dimensions are 5" high and 9.5" wide. As far as I can best describe this pot is a cross between a bean pot and a Confit pot without the handle.
I am looking for the maker of the pot and what it is worth. Thank you for any information you might have.

Mug signed with stylised flower
Yesterday I buy a big mug signed with a painted stylised brown flower on the base.
No idea what it is, but I was pretty certain I had seen the signature before on this forum somewhere.
Cant find anything on stylised flowers-signatures now :(
Anybody has any ideas? Sorry about having no pictures, my camera is currently lost in space. I'll find it back. It's on my to do-list :)
Thanks in advance :)

Re: Vallauris (South of France)
could you scan the base? I sometimes use my scanner to post pics of highly reflective glazes

Re: Vallauris (South of France)
Am at my job right now
Would be a bit weird to put a pot on the scanner here
I'll try to do it by tomorrow.
Oh, the design on the mug itself is a bird, and according to a friend of mine it looks like it was made by Miro. A Miro-bird thing.
