Red Glass plate

Post by Othnin on April 24th 2018, 8:20 pm

I've had this red glass plate/plateau for a while and not been able to find out anything about it. It has gold (etched I think) pheasants/peacocks and gold edging. It has a Chinese style about it, although Im certain it's very English. It reminds me of something that would have been around in the 60's. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Could be Chance glass. They did red and gold, but not seen that decoration before.

I checked this site out and was very interesting and informative thank you. Thought you might be interested to know, I contacted them for information about the red plate and it doesn't appear to be Chance glass, but could be German. So another investigation starts!
