ID help-teardrop shaped hanging pottery bowl

Post by squirrelboy70 on March 21st 2018, 11:15 pm

Hi just need some help deciphering the mark on this unusual piece of pottery I found at an antique store recently. It looks like it could be of Italian or possibly Scandinavian design but those are just my hunches. FYI- the mark is somewhat blurred by the glaze so those are the clearest pics I could take. Appreciate the help! Thanks-squirrelboy70

Those numbers look German or Austrian, but can't really make out the logo.

Thanks for the push. I had originally thought it was German but could not find anything that matched the mark...until now. Decided to recheck the German pottery marks and I found it. It was made by Steuler sometime in the late 1950's/early 1960's and did originally have a rattan wrapped handle. Mystery solved. Thanks! Happy
