Skillful Plate Frith-Like Glaze GE Mark

Post by MCWebs on January 8th 2018, 9:03 am

8 years ago I bought this plate from the Farleigh Hospice Shop in Essex - mark is a very clear GE but as yet after many years I still haven't been able to identify the potter (almost certainly local to that area as there were 2 others by the same person) - can anyone shed any light on who it could be?

Please help end my 8 years of ignorance :)

Not one I've come across before. Sometimes well marked and well fired pottery like this turns out to be French. Maybe from La Borne

Just my personal opinion, take it or leave it.
