Another Jonah and Whale - damaged -advice please

Post by lindylou08 on July 5th 2015, 2:45 pm

Hi
I found this today , 50p so couldn't leave it .

However.......... the tail has been off in several pieces and has a very bad attempt at restoration. Looks like the pieces were thrown together from the end of the street!

They appear to be fairly uncommon and I remembered this topic ( in fact searching for images online only brings up the examples on this forum !!!) So I was wondering whether it would be worth selling on as a restoration project , knowing how particular ceramic collectors are re condition/damage

Grateful for any thoughts

Thanks

I would list it A/F. I'm sure a collector would like one cheap.

That's what I'm hoping!   It's either that or a ceramics conservation class . Thanks for your reply

I don't know the specific date but Llangollen were in openeration from the 1950s-1980s
I'll merge this with our main thread in due course
