Studio Pottery Hare - any ideas who made him? Empty Studio Pottery Hare - any ideas who made him?

Studio Pottery Hare heavily grogged stoneware. Has the Iinitals MV or AW on foot, depending on which way you look at it. Hand modelled, stands approx 8" high with limited brown colouring to nosefeet and ears. It could be an amateur or student piece but does anyone recognise the style please? Really cute. Could be AW or MV mark. Haven't  found it in the Marks book
