Mystery Salt glazed Teapot for ID

Post by Mordeep on October 11th 2017, 2:14 pm

Picked this up this week. It reminds me of so many people but no idea who as it does not appear to be signed unless it is made by fire (word on side)

Clues welcome.

Cheers

Jane Hamlyn springs to mind, but not her mark. Maybe the mark on the side is to commemorate something?

Its a fine old lump. The spout is very stylised. Not seen a Jane Hamlyn one similar yet but I will keep looking. Other suggestions welcome. .

The spout reminds me of Mintons (very rare) fish teapot, though it clearly isn't Mintons, though may be influenced by it
