Signed Fat Lava glaze pitcher w/abstract design

Post by squirrelboy70 on August 18th 2017, 1:46 pm

Got this great pitcher which I'm pretty sure is from San Marino. It is signed but can't really make sense of it. Also it has label with what I assume is the style number. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Watching, as I've just seen 7 like this come up at auction
Won't see them until next week
Will be interested to see if it's a similar signature

Well I think you got it right, I would say it was San Marino.

That's why it looked so familiar to me and I should have caught that. In my mind whenever I think of the pottery made in San Marino I see sgraffito busts of Italian girls on a field of red. Same when I see a lava drip glaze, mind goes to W. Germany. Thanks LancashireRosie. Most Excellent I'll switch it to the correct forum.
