Old charger plate

Post by Pennypanj on Sun Aug 13, 2017 6:07 pm

Hi, I have acquired this old charger which I know is damaged around the edge, but I just wondered if anyone could shed any light on the makers mark and its age?
I have taken photos, but the mark is not coloured, rather an impression. Many thanks for your time.

Thanks for reposting them. I'll delete the other thread.
Hard to see, but if the letter on the right of the Rd Lozenge is "E"
that would be for 1881, probably Staffordshire earthenware.

There looks like a tiny manufacturers impressed mark below the lozenge, but
impossible to read from the photo, could be Wedgwood.
