Wood-fired Bottle Vase

Post by r-and-f on July 20th 2017, 8:06 pm

A simple wood-fired bottle vase, 8 inches tall.  Has a sort of Muchelney look to it, but I can't trace the mark. Does anyone recognise it?

Nice, but I don't recognise the mark. A lot of woodfired bottle vases I come across are french, but I don't know if this is the right clay.

Thanks Naomi. Might be French but somehow it feels British to me. Also seems pretty new - so maybe a young potter who hasn't quite made it into the book yet?
