Derek Day, DD mark

Looks similar to an early Ursula Mommens' mark, but did she ever do bunny rabbits? Also similar to Derek Day's mark, but not finding similar motif on his pieces either.

Not too much like her early mark. Equally, 'Bunnies' seem a but cutey for her. She was very much dead centre of the Leach Anglo/Oriental school, and bunnies would be somewhat frowned on, in the somewhat Spartan philosophy of that school!

Well rabbits are popular in Japanese mythology, and I've seen a bowl of hers with fish, but it does seem a bit too cutsie for her. I think Potty had a set of her mugs with animals on but he hadn't posted any photos of them here.

Looks like Derek Day's mark

Hello...  We are sorting through my late father's stuff.  He collected a lot of pottery, much of it from Yorkshire (eg Shelf Pottery) and Cornwall (eg Carn).

We've found this small collection which all bears the same distinctive mark, together with the same brown circular ridges on the base (see photos).  

Would be really interested if any of you experts could identify where it's from.  We've tried a Google lens search on the mark but not had any joy.

It does not look like a well known mark .While nicely made, they are fairly basic mugs of which there  are a large number around. If you are settling your father's estate I would say check the value of studio pottery mugs on Ebay.
