Tree trunk / bark style pottery

Post by SpoonLicker on July 6th 2017, 6:11 pm

I'm hoping someone can help me identify this bowl.
Recently I've come across a couple of similarly texture pots but none were marked. This one has a mark but nothing that helps me.
Any ideas who made it and when?
Thanks for your help.

Really? They're usually very good at marking their stuff.

Well, these people may have wrongly attributed it (and it's interesting to see that it's no. 610 rather than yours 61D); the same bowl seems to be repeated ad infinitum on Pinterest.

Theirs is also glazed underneath like most sylvac things are and mine isn't. Other than that they do look very similar.

But also I googled sylvac 610 and the blue bowl was the only one that came up. If it was sylvac I think more would have appeared in the search.
