I thought Canterbury Pottery or Dartington, but just marked 69

If only. No, very much a 69 stamp Embarrassed Laughter
There's some breaking on the glaze so I'm wondering if it's no.69 of a series of 100 jugs made for a glaze test? But then why go to the trouble of making a jug rather than a simple oblong.

Its very Janice Tchalenko and that clay looks a bit Dartington like so it could be a test

And of course you wouldn't go to the trouble of making a stamp.
Glaze test marks are usually painted or just in pencil.

Mike Powers did stuff like this also.

Cheers.

Found that Angela Tain used a 69 stamp but this isnt her style of pottery.
