Tile Designer info please Purple on Aqua Flower Basket - H R Johnson 108H

Good morning and thank you for your time. This tile has H R Johnson on the reverse and what looks like 10 8H impressed. It has an abstract flower basket design. Purple blobs and lines into which squiggles and flowers, circles with crosses. I believe I have seen this technique before but cannot recall the designer. Can anyone help to identify the designer please.

I dont recognise this pattern. Both Ann Wyn-Reeves and Alan Wallwork (et al) designed tiles for them in the 60's. I will keep searching :)

Many people used blank tiles by Johnsons (or Carters), cheap and available.
Alan Wallwork for example.

ah! I wrongly assumed that they did design work for the company - but you're saying they bought in the blank tiles and then decorated them. Interesting :)

Doesn't look like the right style for Wynn-Reeves and Wallwork. I suspect it's a student piece. Maybe one of Wynn-Reeves helpers?
