Might be late 19thC. It's a shame you didn't manage to get a base shot.

Yes, the bottom. Quality pieces will be constructed of sections of blown glass, rather than moulded, so the base should have a rough, ground or polished pontil scar which may help with Identification or at least the era. I suspect it was a one-off, though, so we may never know who made it.

Looks like a candle holder. Touches of Dartington however seeing a few pieces on the high street with that flat rim wax catcher.
