Salt glazed preserve pot - possibly Westerwald, Germany

Not Doulton, they marked 99% of the time. Not CJC Baileys Fulham, never seen a dated item by them. Think the German attribute is right. They were masters of stoneware and the late 19th century date matches what is known from them. If it isn't them then a lessor London maker is possible but hard to prove with only the date and thrower details on the base.

Not that any of that makes a difference to insurance. Deduct Doulton and Baileys and you would not see the price of a sandwich's difference between any of what's lefts insurance value.

Germany was the biggest producer of saltglaze stoneware but Belgium produced some too.

You could try contacting Alex Wright at the Bellarmine Museum in Swaffham (email - bellarminemuseum@outlook.com). I sold him a big Westerwald jug a few years ago and he certainly knows his stuff.
