I think I can read DEVON as the top word on the impressed stamp. Maybe one of the 1920s-30s Torquay-ware potteries.

Thanks NaomiM but i just checked again and it says something like:
bottom part- norue and top part crave ( I think one or two letters I can not read)
Which made me confused.
I tried to do re-search but no luck-there is a number as well.

What about 'Norge' as in Norway? That number doesn't look particularly British in format.
