I just bought Peter's 'studio ceramics' book which was first published in 1983
I was inspired by it in 1988 an dedicated 6 months of that year to learning the craft of ceramic sculpture.
It is still a very good read

There is a revised version published circa 2002/3. As a guide to Studio Pottery work in porcelain, they are unbeatable. And the illustrations are superb.
