Help required, Chinese Bowl!

Post by stillscurrying on April 2nd 2017, 5:47 pm

I have a old bowl which I believe to be Chinese.  It has been in my cabinet for five years but I know nothing about it.  The bowl is around 6 inches in diameter by 3 inches in height.  It is blue in colour with a Raku glaze and a small red slash.   It also has a bronze/grey rim and dark spots around the edge.  It looks in every aspect a perfect Chinese bowl but upon turning it over the foot looks like it has been thrown on a wheel in a similar style to that of studio pottery.  I would be very happy to receive any info that may shed some light upon it's origin.  Many thanks,  stillscurrying.

Hi, you had posted this request already and I moved it into our ID My Pots forum where all queries are posted until they're identified. I'll delete this copy in due course, so best to post any comments on the original one -
