Hi
The glaze on this lidded pot reminds me strongly of Robert Goldsmith's work but I have looked for the pattern to no avail and sadly it is not marked.

I'm probably barking up the wrong tree  ( or just plain barking !) so have come here for help. Does anyone recognise the potter?

Naomi I know you like this potter's work so ...........  any ideas?

It's not from his current stuff.
Looks more like David Frith's work, or John Jelfs, or maybe Aldernay Pottery

On reflection it could be an early Selborne or Neatham pot. The clay looks right and I came across a similar shaped pot with a label a few months ago. Looking for the photo
