Please help ID these strange "vessels!" Empty Please help ID these strange "vessels!"

I recently found these two strange vessels. They are red clay or red glazed red stoneware. The larger is 9 1/2" tall, the smaller is 7 1.4". No markings except on the larger a paper label on the base says "M2."

They look a cross between Japanese and Hungarian folkware

At your suggestion I checked out every resource on both Japanese and Hungarian folk pottery...no luck...

I'm sorry no one has been able to help. Maybe a more specialised US studio pottery collectors group would be able to help, such as the Studio Pottery Identificatiob group on Facebook.
