Just picked up this salt fired piece at my local thrift store and was wondering if anyone might be able to help identify the hallmark on the bottom.  I'm not usre what country this piece is from, but it might be German.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Handgemacht is German for hand-made.
Maybe Mettlach?
