Japanese Vase Help with Kanji

Post by Davee on September 30th 2016, 7:04 pm

Picked up this nicely glazed hares fur vase the other day, but i'm struggling with the impressed mark. There are 3 Kanji, I think the centre one represents 'child'. The last one is too deep to make out. The vase appears to have some age as the glaze is crazed all over. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you take a landscape photo and don't edit it then its uploaded in landscape orientation even if it looks portrait orientation on your camera/phone.

Thanks for that Naomi, unfortunately nothing there that I can see, they are all porcelain marks.

I always ask on the Japanese ceramics group on Facebook where they have Japanese speakers.
