Black cylinder, Nearly 12 inches high and 3 kilos in weight. Number "6" and "5" in seals plus letters in the other but can't identify, any ideas?

I can't say that I would ever have thought of him but he did make a variety of ceramic objects over the years. This is apparently from the early 1970s.
