A  nice textural pot in a terracotta and brown stripe - i have searched my limited sources with no joy but I am sure I have seen this mark before somewhere

I don't think it's British, but not sure if it's Continental or Japanese country-ware

I've not seen the mark before and don't have any real view on it's origin. All I can really say with certainty is that it isn't salt glazed.
