Old Dark Green Jug. Stamped A mark - cf, Ray Auker Empty Old Dark Green Jug. Stamped A mark - cf, Ray Auker

I think this is quite old and well made, a little chipped around the rim. Dark green glaze. A stamp on the base, but not Aller Pottery (the line doesn't go all the way across)
Could anyone offer a suggestion please

looks like there's a faint RF mark to the right or the A stamp

I've given it a good scrub and put my glasses on, and I'm not convinced there's an RF and I've looked from every angle. I think it's the kind of base that has 'ghost' marks (that's just what I call them so I fully expect comments about ghosts and cats making pots!)
