Lawrence Keen dish with sgraffito decoration. Potted in the 60s-70s in Middlesex and Hampshire

This info from someone who knew him:

Lawrence was a bank note engraver. The very best doing only the most detailed parts. He worked in Stanmore Middx and was a very accomplished potter in a studio in the substantial basement of his large victorian house. He was a founder member of the craftsmans potter association, friend of Mick Casson, David Eeles and many others. He was a very interestimg man but it would have been very difficult to replace his income. His major hobby seemed to be having interesting new houses built.

Just my personal opinion, take it or leave it.
