Two pair of vases - Looks chinese, japanese?

Post by Crowfoot on June 4th 2016, 4:57 pm

Hello all! It's been a while since I logged in last.

The other day, I stumbled across these two fine vases on a garage sale in my hometown. I live in Sweden, and I tried to identify the mark in the bottom of the vase on my own, but with no luck!

I'm guessing they are pretty new. Probably from the late 19's, but I'm not certain. I tried to google my way around, but could not find this particular mark anywhere. I had hopes, that perhaps someone here could tell me something about it. You seem to know a great deal!

Like how old they are?
And are they chineese or japanese?

I'm just a green amateur who loves chinese porcelain and culture.   Embarrassed
:-)
Hope you guys can help me identify them! They look beautiful in my living room

Cantonese porcelain from China. Modern copies, I'm afraid. I have an original 19thC one in the garage and although the designs are traditional, the difference is technique is very noticeable.
