Is anyone familiar with the maker's mark MS?

The only MS maker I can find is Michael Simon and this doesn't look like any of his work, also he is in US i'm in UK so I suspect this is most likely a British piece. I think the design on this one should make it easily recognisable to someone familiar with the work of this 'MS'. Also the grain of the clay I would guess is quite distinctive with the black flecks on white.

Similar to Michael Simon's mark but he's in the Us and it doesn't look like his style of pot

Maybe. He used a few marks; this seems the closest but can’t be 100% sure

Of all the MS marks I've looked at in my googlings. He seems the most likely based on the M's shape and appearance.
