I note that there is a museum in Rustington that covers all aspects of local history and includes some of this pottery. It might have more information.

My grandparents lived in Rustington, I spent summer holidays there up until the early 70's, they had a beach hut, there used to be a narrow guage steam railway that went to nearby Littlehampton. I remember the sea freezing over in 1963, but I don't know about any pottery.

I live locally and recently went into Rustington museum. Although I was aware that way back there was The Victoria Brickworks and Pottery (opened in 1884 ), I had no idea about Rustington Pottery. Guy 'Harry' Champion ( 1904-1970). The museum has a small collection of his pots' I will be looking out for examples of his work now
