Is this a Whitefriars controlled bubble paperweight 2nd

Post by RVsaid on December 27th 2015, 8:12 am

Hi

Looks like a Whitefriars controlled bubble paperweight but without the smaller bubbles. There's a piece of foil inside the top of the glass so perhaps it's a second though I would have thought the smaller bubbles would have been added before it's main form was taken this far?

Approx 6.8 cm high with flat base.

Colour looks too dark for WF in my opinion plus it would be more likely to have lots of small bubbles and this larger bubble missing. Could be a one-off trial piece though?
