Sussex Stoneware Egg Cups Painted mark L SP

Hi

Not Wholly unattractive pieces. There's the mark on a bowl on Pininterest (L SP) but also with Betty Sims and Sussex on the base. Looked through Owens but couldn't find it.

From what I can work out from snippets from Google Books, Betty Sims, as well as being a potter, ran a gallery-cum-guest house called "Lannards" on her husband's farm at Billingshurst in the early 1990s.

I also found a reference to her exhibiting (presumably pottery) in Chichester in 1975.

Indeed. Sylph Baier's CV also mentions being " Production Thrower at Lannards Gallery, Billingshurst".
