"Modern Art" is produced by incompetents, sold by charlatans and bought by ignoramuses?

It is enlightening to juxtapose "Fine Art" to "Modern Art"

.... as the clay body appears to possibly have sand added might the other words be "les plages"?

So a title of the pot rather than a potter or pottery..................... Little kisses of the beaches?

Just throwing out an idea but could it be American? It's the type of thing I can imagine being made in New Orleans as it seems to be a mix of almost American Indian imagery, pot shape with French writing. Lots of places with LOS in America if that is a clue. Could be worth a dig through studio pottery from the French speaking South of the states or new Mexico for the LOS thing.
