Hi all

Got a nice mystery studio jar and cover with two clear marks on the base. It stands just on 4 inches and is about the size of a coffee mug. Hope someone recognises the marks and can give me an idea what they represent.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I suspect it's been brought home from holiday. Australian or New Zealand studio piece maybe.

Is this another variation of John Gibson, Courtyard pottery?

Turn it round 90 deg.

Been flicking backwards and forwards between the images and it is so very close. If it's not John Gibson then I would be surprised. It also fits in with the general origins of the pottery mountain I bought (only found 3 things not English so far and they are Dutch)

Another vote for John Gibson here.
