Simple flat and coil earthenware boat - Scandinavian or Mediterranean?

Post by RVsaid on June 13th 2015, 6:34 am

Hi Team

A simple but rather charming curved boat. There seems to be some letters on the bottom between the coil base. I was tempted to thin Greek but possibly Nordic.

It is enlightening to juxtapose "Fine Art" to "Modern Art"

Oh I agree, it's the kind of thing that could be knocked out very easily after a bit of practice and yet still has great balance of form with style. It's actually a lot nicer than it appears in the photographs...
