German vase

Post by Guest on April 17th 2015, 8:54 pm

I've been really struggling with this one I thought I recognised it when I bought it but after spending hours I've drawn a blank. 0088 to base. Does anyone recognise this pattern thanks.

Looks a bit like Carstens but I'm not good on German pottery.

the colours and pattern do look a bit like , but not quite Carsten ankara design , but the base is wrong as is the top half of the vase , maybe a lookalike company Shrugs

Thanks Ed, it does look a bit like the Ankara pattern and that's probably why I thought I knew it.

I've checked all the German pottery web sites and did a google photo image search so a complete mystery.

Cheers : )
