Steel Glaze Bowl, No Makers Mark
Picked up this bowl today at an antique centre from a cabinet which looked like time had forgotten it. The base had been covered with felt, which as you can see I have now ripped off revealing what could be an old auction label or gallery number. Anyway the ticket only said "Stoneware bowl, steel glaze". No other clues. Anybody any ideas?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Might be a mark under the label.
Unusual foot design.

Certainly doesn't feel like there is any kind of impressed mark underneath, will rip it off and see.

Has s European look to it, but it might be Oriental, or oriental influence.

Hmmm I was thinking possibly from the US with an oriental influence lol. I'll go with your European hunch though as you're usually correct.
