A nice bottle vase with great blue glaze, but a bit lop-sided!  Stoneware, chunky & heavy.  Unsure of mark, been looking for quite a while.

Second mark looks a little like the Brookhouse Pottery mark

Thanks for that. I have had a look but this piece doesn't seem to have the 'dot' above the 'waves'. Tricky one.

There is another possibility which I'm trying to chase up. A potter who does raku these days and has an elongsted SSS stamp.

It does look as if there is a seam across the bottom so perhaps moulded in two sections rather than thrown. Also the colour and fineness of the stoneware doesn't look typical British studio pottery but I can't get near suggesting where it was made.
