its a weird one...Ray Wax ??...

There is a stamp which either looks like RW or MY...and i have no idea why somebody Ray ? has written over the top and why 1920 ? Shrugs

..Help

Maybe a test piece for glazes and the words and numbers are codes.

Its an ornate mark....and i think R and W is right...but i'm not sure why stamp it...a pottery-a potter-a retailer ?

Potter. Might be in the book.. (Other potters have used the same font for their monograms. ) I'll have a look tomorrow.

I guess as the monogram is RW and the name is Ray Wax, the RW stands for Ray Wax. I've come across the monogram before but not heard of him, sorry.
