Post by andyy on December 17th 2014, 8:44 am

Hello dear experts,

I am totally new to this board, so please be patient with me Happy

I have some pretty interesting pieces of Raku pottery and I am not able to identify where they are from. I bought them in Hamburg and I think it could be German, but I donīt know enough about pottery. I am much better in identying glass so if you have any questions just let me know.

First piece is a pretty big Raku bowl 23x34x20 cm with 3.6 kg, It is marked on the bottom with somthingf like WN ??

Second one is also very large Raku piece in 8 x34x23 cm and 3.2 kg unmarked

Third is a pair of very raw an thick-walled vases in 18 and 22 cm with identical signature.

last one is a bowl with a lid 18x 22 cm and 1.8 kg marked with MM 94 MM ??

I really hope, I am not to demanding.

I appreciate all your help !

Hi, Andyy and welcome to the forum

I don't recognise the marks but hopefully one of our german members will know them.
You're welcome to post as many pots as you'd like for ID but it's best to start a new thread for each pot unless they are by the same maker.
