TW Gaze modern design auction

hello all . i have just been up there to drop off a few lots for this auction and the studio pottery up there looks great with a bit of something for everybody . i had a chat with James Bassam who is in charge of the auction and he was telling me they done a house clearance with about 160 lots of studio pottery . i will be happy to collect any pieces that people want and post ( if they are not too large ) at a later date as we are off on holiday the day after the auction or meet up at a antique fair .

i was only dropping off items today and i would think the catalog will be available in about a weeks time . the auction is 1st november . there are some big lumps up there and wouldn't want to pay the postage on those . quite a few pieces walter keeler , maltby , wallwork to name just a few and i would think low reserves as its from a house clearance

quite close to me so I may have a good look at the pottery before the auction as there seems to be quite a few damaged pieces that I wouldn't want to be stuck with

i will more than likely pop up there on the thursday after the wife finishes work.

looks like they have a few low come & Buy me estimates , one or two lots I wouldn't mind having a go at but mostly run of the mill stuff .

I just got my condition reports back, it reads like an earthquake warning and I won't be bidding on this auction
